Insurance & Payment Information

Book Appointment

At Henderson Vision Centre, we want patients to schedule their eye exams and purchase new eyewear without financial anxiety. That’s why we work with several private health and vision care providers to make payment as smooth as possible.

Please ensure you are eligible for electronic claims and confirm coverage prior to your appointment.

What about Manitoba Health Insurance?

Manitoba Health, Seniors, and Active Living covers one routine eye exam every two years for patients who are under 19 or over 65 years old. However, eye exams are not covered for patients who fall between these age ranges.

Private vision care insurance can be an excellent way to reduce the costs associated with regular eye exams and purchasing new eyewear.

We offer direct billing for the following private insurers:

  • Blue Cross
  • Canada Life
  • Manulife
